Mediatrix of all Graces
Feast day: May 8

The first and oldest title by which the Augustinian Order honored the Blessed Virgin Mary was Our Lady of Grace in the 15th century.
The Annunciation of the angel Gabriel to Mary who was sent by God to a town in Galilee called Nazareth. is the basis of the title “Lady of Grace” from the words of the angel “HAIL FULL OF GRACE…”
Mary by her consent to God’s messenger has cooperated with Christ in our salvation. Mary is pleasing to God that he entrusted His Son to her care and so God cannot refuse her prayers on our behalf for she is the worthy Mother of God.
The Lord has chosen Mary to be the dispenser of Divine graces and so she is known as the Mediatrix of all Graces for all Mankind. It is true that God alone is the Author and Source of Grace but he willed that his Graces be distributed through the hands of our Heavenly Mother.
Mary is the Universal Mother of mankind, the abyss and the channel of God’s graces. Jesus Christ has deposited all the riches of mercy and grace that he intends for us through hi Mother Mary, and from her hands, God’s grace comes.
Mary corresponded totally to grace. From the moment of her conception, every act of her life was dictated with intense love for God, which increased with every grace. She grew continually in holiness & love and grace filled her more and more.
Mary is the admirable Virgin, the honor of all women. Her greatness and her dignity are such that God alone can comprehend it. As the Mother of Jesus, God has raised her to the highest degree of Perfection..
OUR LADY OF GRACE, PRAY FOR US!
